Staff Bios

At Peace, Love, and Landscaping our focus is on you, the customer.  By keeping our company smaller we are better able to manage our projects.  Because of this we have chosen to remain a tight knit, and highly skilled single-crew landscaping company.

Wolfegang Bonham is an admitted garden addict. What began as putting a few plants in the ground around a storefront for his jewelry business more than 10 years ago quickly became an obsession (so deemed by his staff once he had installed a private shade garden for them to relax in during their breaks).

Wolfegang Bonham Bio2Wolfe received Honours Certificates from Mohawk College in both Landscape Design and in Horticulture Studies. He was awarded Hamilton’s Trillium Bursary for top marks in Landscape Design. He is also one of less than a dozen people in Ontario to hold Certification through the Dry Stone Walling Association of Great Britain.

He worked for renowned landscape designer Sean James of Fern Ridge Landscaping, and was a former manager for Terra Greenhouses before deciding to branch out on his own to open up Peace, Love, and Landscaping in 2006.

In his life before gardening he was a jewelry designer and an audio engineer. As such, his entire life has been centered around artistic endeavors. Therefore you can be confident in knowing that his sense of design, originality, and artist beauty are second to none.

Wolfe is constantly furthering his education and can always be found attending gardening and landscaping lectures, conferences, and workshops. He’s also passionate about reading up on plants, landscaping design, and stonework… and his book collection on those topics has outgrown his bookcases! More recently he studied Japanese Garden Design in Japan, and has also become a Certified Feng Shui Consultant.

Wolfe is an in-demand expert Guest Speaker at Garden Clubs, Horticultural Events, and Industry Seminars. He has been a regular presenter at such places the Royal Botanical Gardens, the Toronto Botanical Gardens, and Canada Blooms.

When he’s not gardening (which is very rare) he can usually be found restoring vintage motorcycles, backpacking or hiking, or traveling to exotic locations (and seeing the Botanical Gardens while he’s there of course!)

Jeff practically grew up around the Golf Course industry. Having graduated from Lambton College (Sarnia) in Landscape Construction & the Golf Course Technician Program, he spent the next 8 years building and maintaining golf courses throughout southern Ontario. Furthering his education, he completed 2 short courses in Turf Management at the University of Guelph and Cornell University (Ithaca, NY).

Jeff Cunningham BioTaking a break from the hands-on aspect of the industry, he moved into a sales role working for landscape and golf industry materials suppliers. This has given him a unique inside knowledge of the supply and manufacturing portion of the industry.

But the itch to build things was too strong, and he is once again back on the Front Lines as the Team Leader (Foreman) for Peace, Love, and Landscaping.

Jeff has an eye for detail rivaling Wolfegang Bonham’s, and a professional demeanor developed from years in the Golf Industry and his Sales Position, we’re sure you’ll enjoy having him work on your property.

During his time off he can be found playing a round of golf (of course!), spending time with his new daughter, walking his dog, or doing home renovation projects.

Jordan Milmine – Jordan grew up in a farming family, so hard work and long hours come natural to him.  He attended the SHSM (Specialist High Skills Major) Program at Salt Fleet High School for Landscaping and Horticulture where he came on board with Peace, Love, and Landscaping as a Co-op Student.  Proving to be an incredible asset to the company he became a full time staff member after his co-op was complete.  Jordan was accepted into Fanshawe College’s Landscape Technician Program where he continues to study during the fall/winter months while working for Peace, Love, and Landscaping during the spring and summer.

Steve Gilners – Steve brings many years of hands-on landscaping experience to Peace, Love, and Landscaping where he has excelled in hardscaping installations such as Patios, Walkways, and Retaining Walls.  He also brings a carpentry background to us, previously being part of his father home renovation business.

Shawn Hoffman – Shawn is our newest and youngest member of the Peace, Love, and Landscaping team.  Like Jordan, he too attends the SHSM Program in Landscaping and Horticulture at Salt Fleet High School, and we hope he can create an amazing career for years to come in the Landscaping Industry with us.
